Your Crew

The purchasing department (Supply Chain) in Linköping is today a team of 13 people. Together, we have the overall responsibility for having the right materials in place, on time, at the right cost and quality. To achieve this, we work closely together both internally and cross-functionally within the company. As one of our colleagues is moving on to a new assignment, we are now looking for a strategic buyer who can take responsibility for our agreements.

Your Mission

Order and Data Management:

· Focus on the day-to-day preparation, issuing, and processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier communications.

· Maintenance of ERP procurement article data.

Supplier Performance and Collaboration:

· Regularly review supplier performance metrics and report any issues to the strategic purchaser.

· Take an active role in the supplier teams in close collaboration with the Strategic Purchaser and Supplier Quality Engineer.

Operational Support and Coordination:

· Provide support to the production team by ensuring the timely availability of materials and resolving any supply issues that arise.

· Work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of materials.

Issue Resolution and KPI Management:

· Address, escalate, and resolve any operational issues related to purchasing, such as delivery delays or discrepancies in orders (e.g., cost and quality). Expedite orders and ensure counter actions are taken.

KPI Responsibility:

· Supplier OTD.

Your Story

Must’s:

· Relevant commercial and/or technical education

· Experience from operational procurement

· Experience in the use of ERP system and related procurement administrative and control tasks

· Communicative personality, positive mindset & solution drive

Nice to have’s:

· Preferable good technical understanding
