Your role

Saab Aeronautics is expanding and is moving to a more international position within Europe. A new organization has been created with the mission to understand and position Saab as a trustful and collaborative partner in EU funded research and development projects. We build strategic competences within prioritized technology areas and execute EU funded projects. To strengthen our project manager team, we are now expanding with another Project Manager take on new exciting projects.

As project manager you are responsible for providing technical and supervisory direction to projects and services in an assigned region, from design to start-up. You have the overall control over the project budget development. as well as implementing organisation policies and directions ahead.

The project managers are responsible to for all Saab commitments but also expected to support the coordinator and partners as necessary.

Other tasks that will be included in your role are:

• Approves design for phases of projects
• Focus on implementing and executing strategies within project management.
• Frequently advises others on complex matters.
• Plans and schedules work and staffing needs.
• Evaluate performance and performs career counseling

Your profile

We are looking for a confident individual with great leadership and communication skills. In this role, your ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced, international environment will be crucial. You should be comfortable managing multiple external stakeholders and relationships simultaneously, whilst maintaining a high level of professionalism and focus. You have a strong passion for building collaboration across the organisation and with external stakeholders.

We believe you have experience from at least one of following areas:

• Complex projects with many stakeholders
• Experience of participation in international projects
• You have strong drive and ability to create commitment and energy within the organisation
• Experience of public funding (EU, Vinnova or similar) projects
• You have excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
