Your role

As an Industrial Cooperation (IC) Specialist, you will be responsible for IC content in a Gripen sales effort or major campaign. Your work will focus on analysing and adapting to customer expectations, developing IC strategies, and managing IC projects to ensure they align with Saab's goals and processes.

The role involves identifying and developing Industrial Cooperation (IC) opportunities, shaping and managing the IC portfolio, and ensuring high-quality execution throughout the offer and negotiation process. It includes close collaboration with internal stakeholders, customers, authorities, and business partners to secure compliant, value-creating agreements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing customer and stakeholder expectations to identify IC opportunities
  • Developing IC strategies in cooperation with relevant Saab internal stakeholders, such as Campaign Management, Program Management, Strategy, Procurement and Mergers & Acquisition
  • Ensuring IC projects are documented, calculated and negotiated using approved methods and tools and ensuring IC text for offers is written and quality-assured
  • Coordinating and arranging Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings as necessary and engaging and collaborating with country authorities and bodies including MoUs and Teaming Agreements
  • Contributes to various activities, such as preparing for customer offer handovers, concluding opportunities and conducting negotiations

Your profile

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience from industrial cooperation and relevant industry experience. You possess excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills. A relevant university degree is preferred, and personal qualities will be given significant consideration.

To succeed in this role, we see that you:

  • Demonstrate good business judgement and a solid understanding of major industry operations
  • Possess strong leadership and project management skills
  • Exhibit excellent negotiation, marketing and presentation skills
  • Have proficient English writing and communication skills
  • Have a strong ethical compass and naturally act in line with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Possess knowledge in areas such as development, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, commercial, sales and marketing
  • Saab experience related to the above areas is meriting

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
