The documentation and training team is responsible for the technical documentation regarding our products, such as manuals and spare part documentation, supporting the creation of documentation needed at other departments. The team is also responsible for offering product related trainings necessary to efficiently deploy our solutions to Swisslog colleagues, end customers and external integrators. As our new manager you will lead a team of technical writers and trainers located in Austria and Sweden.

Make an impact

• Coach and mentor your team and be a positive role model.
• Develop the training and documentation team and its individual members, set targets and strategies for the team and individual goals and development plans for the team members.
• Actively work towards harmonized product documentation, processes and methods across product lines.
• Develop the training offering together with the team and in line with business needs and strategies.
• Ensure that documentation and training packages are delivered on time and with high quality.
• Responsible for the resource management of the team, cost center budget and financial follow up

Your profile

• Relevant university degree and previous experience of technical documentation or technical training
• Professional leadership experience, preferably from a similar role
• Proficiency in English. Familiarity with Swedish or German is valued
• Strong teamwork abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for inspiring and motivating teams
• Open to regular travel (up to 20%) between company locations, amongst others to Eberstalzell, Austria
