Your role

Business unit Underwater Systems is now looking to expand the Strategy function. The Strategy function within Underwater Systems is responsible for the Business Units overall Strategies, Strategic Business Plan, Product Portfolio Management and Research & Development budget. We also coordinate implementation of certain strategic plans for the future and secures the alignment with Business Area Kockums and Saab AB strategies.

In your role you will be a part of developing and securing Business Unit Underwater Systems long-term strategies. You will have a strong and frequent interface with the entire Business Unit, other Business Units/Business Areas/Operational Country units as well as external Partners and Customers.

Plan and lead Strategic initiatives

Develop new long-term opportunities

Strong collaboration with other Business Units and Business Areas within Saab

*

Keep up with global technology trends and market analysis

Customers, suppliers and partners interface/contact

The position includes both national and international travels, sometimes with short notice.

It is required that you can easily connect, maintain and manage relations with different people regardless of cultural background. For this role, you need to have strong communicative skills and have the ability to enthusiasm and motivate others in your surroundings. You have a leadership style that encourage an open, trustful and innovative culture. It is requested that you have good strategic ability and manage to build relationships on an international arena.
