Your role

Saab is currently expanding internationally towards becoming a multi-domestic company. In this process, IT plays an important role in facilitating and enabling collaboration. Data has never been as important as it is today. Sharing, collecting, storing, using and capitalizing on data is one important component for all Saab's product areas. Information technology will bring improvements in practically every area and Saab will utilize this by incorporating IT even closer to our core business.

The section Platform Application and Content within Saab Group IT is now looking for a skilled Container Developer. As a Container Developer, it is important that you have the drive for innovation and the ability to learn and collaborate within you team. Your main tasks are:

Developing containers based on existing components

*

Develop, operate and support the our Kubernets based run-time environment

The section currently employs about 25 people with IT solutions, methodological support and strategic issues linked to tools and processes. The Conteiner Developer team contains 4 closely working persons today and is about to expand the next years. Domestic travels occurs monthly.

Your profile

We believe that you are a dev-ops technician and or developer. You are comfortable with taking responsibility for your work but also to share knowledge and work together with others. Prestige is found together with your team colleagues in your deliveries. We would also like you to have good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Container development skills like Helm, Docker etc.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
